Kacey Roach officially started True Chiefs in November of 2017 when she screen printed graphic tees with her designs, which she then took to sell at the Luther Pecan Festival where all vendors, music, food and art were local.
Kacey was inspired to start True Chiefs because she grew up with entrepreneurs in her family. They continue to offer support for her passions and have been role models in inspiring her to start her own business. She learned how to screen print in her early 20's when she got a job at a screen-printing shop. Kacey fell in love with the process. After getting a degree in Graphic Design, she wanted to design for people and print her own t-shirts.
One of her short term goals is to grow her current list of clients. She also hopes to start selling her t-shirt designs online and in local shops. In the future, she would love nothing more than to get to do her passion full-time. She hopes to continue doing graphic design services and selling screen printed goods online, and one day, even possibly open her own store.
Something unique about True Chiefs Creative Studio is that Kacey named her business after her Native American roots. The name came to her as she was reading a book about her Native American tribe, Caddo Nation, which means "True Chiefs”. She immediately knew True Chiefs was going to be the name of her business one day!
Kacey says being an FNB customer has always been great. "I've never had any problems and I trust FNB completely with not only my personal banking, but my future business banking," explained Kacey. She also mentioned that she feels fortunate to always have Niki Latschar there to help her. Kacey said, "Niki makes everything so easy and stress free."
